Welcome dinner

Our day begins with an early morning sail towards Šibenik. We’ll enjoy lunch on board before disembarking for a bus ride to visit the stunning Krka National Park. The powerful waterfalls of Krka National Park are one of Croatia’s must see natural beauties. After exploring the park, we’ll return to Šibenik for a guided walking tour of the historical town center and visit a beautiful Renaissance Cathedral. Afterwards, enjoy a free evening in Šibenik.

In the morning, we sail from Šibenik to Galešnjak, a small Dalmatian island where there will be time to swim in one of the secluded bays. Enjoy lunch on board as we sail into Zadar harbour for our overnight. In the afternoon, experience Zadar with a guided walking tour of the historical center, to see the old walls, and the Port Gate built in the 16th century. You’ll also have time to visit the Five Wells, the Church of St. Donat, the Roman Forum and the largest Cathedral in Dalmatia, St. Anastasia. There’s also an amazing sea organ that plays music if there is a breeze!

Guided walking tour of Zadar

Leaving Zadar in the morning, we cruise to Sali to visit the tourist town of Dugi Otok which is surrounded by lush green hills and turquoise bays, where there will be time to swim. After a swim, we will continue our sail to National Park Kornati. The 89 stunning islands, islets, reefs, and rich marine life in Kornati National Park have earned it the praise of being a “nautical paradise”. Finally, we continue to the hilltop town of Primošten where the main feature is the parish Church of St. George built in 1485. Enjoy the evening in town at your leisure.

We depart Primošten early in the morning and sail to the island of Vis. Vis was once an important Yugoslav naval base and was closed to the public for years. Due to this isolation, Vis has a unique charm that is like visiting “the Mediterranean as it once was”, making it one of our favorite stops. In town, enjoy a guided walking tour of Vis where you’ll see the remains of the Roman thermal place and enjoy views from the gorgeous Villae Rusticae. In the evening, indulge in our Captain’s dinner onboard.

In the morning, we cruise to the small island of Biševo to see the stunning natural phenomenon of the Blue Cave. Our visit to the Blue Cave is dependent upon the weather conditions that day, but you’ll know well in advance if the weather is in our favor.
We’ll continue our sail to Hvar Island, the sunniest on Adriatic island, with time for a relaxing swim in the warm turquoise waters along the way. Even though Hvar is a popular holiday destination amongst international celebrities, it maintains its seaside town charm. Enjoy a guided walking tour through the picturesque streets to the first public theatre in Europe. After the tour, we’ll take a short sail to Stari Grad on the island of Hvar. Here you’ll get a chance to see Stari Grad Field, the oldest and best preserved ancient Greek agricultural system, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site.

On our final full day, we will sail to the Island of Brač to swim at one of the most famous beaches in Dalmatia, the Golden Horn, near Bol. This shape of this unique beach constantly changes as the wind and waves shift the pebbles. After swimming, enjoy a guided winery tour and tasting to learn about the importance of wine in Dalmatia.
In the afternoon, we’ll arrive in the UNESCO World Heritage city, Split. You’ll have ample time to experience the historic city center, seeing the remnants of Renaissance and Gothic structures. Take time to admire Roman Emperor Diocletian’s Palace and stroll through the palace basement perusing the market stalls.

Wine tasting in Bol

Enjoy breakfast on board before disembarking for your transfer to Dubrovnik. En route to Dubrovnik, you will drive through the Dalmatian hinterland and then along the stunning Dalmatian coast. You will take the old road, witnessing beautiful scenery and driving through many quaint coastal villages and towns. The wide-open views will rival the ones you had on the cruise. Ston is famous for its oyster farms, and when you arrive, you will take a small boat out to a rustic floating oyster bar where you’ll learn how oysters have been cultivated in this bay for centuries. After having your fill of local wine and sea treats, you’ll continue on to Dubrovnik and for an afternoon arrival to check into your hotel.

Journey to the rural region of Konavle for a special culinary and cultural experience with a local family. Not only will this lovely family teach you the Croatian way to make bread, but they’ll also share the history of the area and what makes the Croatian culture so special.

Immerse yourself in local culture and cuisine with this traditional cooking experience. Each experience is unique and based on seasonal ingredients. Once you and your hosts decide on the menu, you’ll gather all of the ingredients and learn the steps required to create your meal.

However, one consistent piece of the menu is making homemade bread with the family’s Grandma. She will activate the yeast, and you’ll be in charge of kneading the dough to perfection, with Grandma’s help of course! As the bread rises, you’ll go into the garden to gather the ingredients and perhaps even some fresh eggs. Then Grandma will teach you how to create a delicious meal with the seasonal, freshly picked vegetables from the garden.
