Itinerary
Welcome to Slovenia! Upon arrival at the Ljubljana airport, our driver will transfer you to your local accommodations in the center of charming Ljubljana. After getting settled in, relax in one of Ljubljana’s many street cafes on the riverwalk and immerse yourself into local life in Slovenia’s capital.
It’s time to tick off a massive Slovenia bucket list item with a visit to Lake Bled! Lake Bled is set in an idyllic location surrounded by Slovenian alps. Take a traditional Pletna boat ride to Bled Island, walk the pathway surrounding the lake that offers amazing views, or hike up to Bled castle.
We’ll return to Ljubljana where your guide will take you to a local restaurant to try local Slovenian sausage. Then, we’ll take a funicular ride to the Castle of Ljubljana which has impressive views of the city below. The day ends in Old Town where you can continue to explore this picturesque city.
Full day private Lake Bled and Ljubljana Experience
On our way to Rovinj or Zagreb we’ll stop at the spectacular Postojna Caves. These caves are one of the world’s largest underground cave networks. Don’t worry, they’re easily accessible by electric train. The Postojna Caves boasts towering mountains, murmuring underground rivers and vast subterranean halls, beautifully lit to leave a memorable lasting impression. Tickets to the caves are included.
