Overview

Guests embark on a once-in-a-lifetime experience in Split, the largest town in Dalmatia and the second-largest in Croatia. From there, they will experience sea travel as we visit islands like Hvar, Korčula, Brač, and Mljet on our charming small cruise ships.

Swimming is a big part of our deluxe trips, with many stops throughout the trip to turquoise bays and famous beaches. When you’re not splashing in the sea, you may find yourself exploring Stari Grad, one of the most charming older towns in Europe and also a UNESCO World Heritage site. Cobblestone streets lead you through Marco Polo’s birthplace, a medieval town that is as well-preserved as it is historic.

Our well-balanced trips allow guests to take breathtaking historical tours, including the UNESCO World Heritage site, Dubrovnik, otherwise known as the “Pearl of the Adriatic.” We balance our walking tours with relaxing swims in different areas. Nature lovers can spend time exploring Mljet National Park and its natural beauty. Lastly, enjoy local wines with our wine tasting tour.

All evenings are free to do as you wish, whether you prefer to sample delicious local food or take a stroll with a captivating view.

Itinerary

Welcome to Split! A transfer awaits to take you from the Split airport or your Split hotel to the harbour for embarkation at 13:00. You’ll have time to settle into your cabin before the Welcome Reception, followed by dinner onboard.

In the morning we set sail to Stari Grad on the island of Hvar with a swimming stop and lunch along the way. You’ll have plenty of time to explore Stari Grad, a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the oldest towns in Europe. The old town center is home to many friendly and inexpensive konobas and restaurants. You have the evening free to experience Stari Grad at your own pace.

Overnight in Stari Grad

In the morning, we’ll sail to the town of Hvar on the most popular island in the Adriatic, the island of Hvar. A guided tour will show off Hvar’s eight centuries of architecture, charming side streets, and the first public theatre in Europe (yes, even older than Shakespeare’s theatre in the UK)!
We’ll continue our sail to the island of Korčula with a swimming stop in the gorgeous turquoise water and lunch onboard. Upon arrival in Korčula, a guide will take you through the narrow cobblestone streets of this well preserved medieval town that is thought to be the birthplace of the famous world explorer, Marco Polo. There will also be an opportunity to enjoy wine tasting at a local wine bar. Your evening is free to experience the charming atmosphere of Korčula and enjoy dinner at one of the delicious restaurants.

Overnight in Korčula

Our day begins with a sail to the “Pearl of the Adriatic” and UNESCO World Heritage site, Dubrovnik. A guided tour begins with a drive above Old Town with ample panoramic views. Once we’ve soaked in the view from above, we’ll walk through Dubrovnik and Stradun, the most famous site within the town walls! After the guided tour, you have time to explore Dubronik at your own pace. Highlights we recommended visiting are the City Walls, Europe’s second oldest pharmacy in the Franciscan Monastery, the Rector’s Palace and the Cathedral. Alternatively, take a boat ride to Lokrum island or ride the cable car to the top of Mount Srđ for epic views of Dubrovnik.

Overnight in Dubrovnik

Today, we begin our adventure back to Split but, don’t worry, there are still plenty of gorgeous places to see! We’ll sail to Mljet Island with ample time to swim along the way. Upon arrival you’ll have the opportunity to join the Cruise Manager for a visit to the stunning Mljet National Park. Mljet National Park boasts 5 different types of forests, a variety of birds, and two deep lakes, Veliko Jezero (Big Lake) and Malo Jezero (Small Lake). Plus, you can take a small boat ride to St. Mary Isle to visit an ancient Benedictine monastery, an abbey, and a Church dating back to the 12th Century.
Your evening is free to explore Mljet.

Overnight in Mljet

Our day begins with a cruise to Pučišća, but not before a swim! After lunch on board we’ll arrive in Pučišća on the island of Brač. Pučišća means village of the stone sculpture and you can visit the stunning stonemason school which features a steep sided natural harbor and authentic Mediterranean architecture. In the evening, enjoy our Captain’s dinner.

Overnight in Pučišča

Our day begins with a sail to our final port, Omiš. Here you’ll see a large stone fortress that pirates once called home while they made their fortunes. In Omiš, there is an optional walking tour followed by a small boat cruise into the protected, and beautiful, Cetina River Canyon to Radman Mills where you can sample local food. Afterwards, enjoy lunch on board as we sail to Split. There will be a stop along the way for swimming, of course! We’ll arrive in Split in the evening where a guided walking tour awaits to show you the historical UNESCO protected city center. The rest of the evening is free to explore Split.

Overnight in Split

Enjoy a final breakfast onboard before disembarking.  You will be transferred to the Split airport or your Split hotel.
