Representing the new era of traditional Croatian sailing gulets, RARA AVIS, meaning ‘rare bird’, is a state-of-the-art 108ft (33m) motor sailing yacht available for charter along the Dalmatian coastline and islands. Crafted by the dedicated owner, Marijo Ercegović, with a rich family history in boat building and nautical tourism, RARA AVIS stands as the crown jewel of the charter fleet in the region. Boasting a high-quality steel hull, handmade teak deck, elegant sails, and a host of features for recreation and relaxation, RARA AVIS promises to captivate and enchant her charter guests.

Cabins

The below-deck accommodation on RARA AVIS comprises six suites, featuring a spacious master cabin, a VIP cabin, two double cabins, and two twin cabins with convertible twin beds. These light and airy cabins are equipped with ensuites, ample storage, and luxurious amenities, including beautiful bed linens, towels, a hair dryer, and toiletries, ensuring a 5-star experience for guests.

Facilities and Public Areas

The foredeck of RARA AVIS features a comfortable seating area for sunset cocktails or private sunbathing. The sundeck above is a popular spot with a large jacuzzi surrounded by sunpads, two seating areas with tables, an outdoor shower, and a shaded section beneath expansive sails for protection from the heat. The yacht’s decor is contemporary and soothing, employing a tranquil palette of neutrals and high-quality finishes. With air-conditioning throughout, RARA AVIS offers a spacious main saloon with separate lounge and dining areas, a bar, and entertainment features such as flat-screen TVs, DVD, USB, and Wi-Fi.

Meals

Enjoy a diverse array of organic options, including meats, cheeses, breads, cereals, yogurt, and classic American hot breakfast items. For lunch and dinner, savor upscale contemporary cuisine with 3-course meals featuring a variety of choices such as chicken, fresh seafood, pasta, beef, and pork. *APA DEPOSIT INFORMATION – APA (Advance Provisioning Allowance): 30% of charter fee paid with the balance for covering running costs during the charter: Fuel approx. 3000 €/week (depend on fuel consumption) is also charged from the APA. port and marina fees, sea doo and tender operated watersports, national park entrances, custom fees and charter licenses if chartered outside of Croatia, food and drinks options, and anything else that guests might need while on charter. A strict set of accounts is held by the captain throughout the charter and any funds not spent are refunded to the client in full. APA to be paid in cash on board or as a wire transfer with the last payment to a shipping agent’s account. If APA is to be paid as a wire transfer, commission of 2% for the shipping agent will be deducted from the APA.
