Itinerary

Welcome to Croatia! We depart at 13:00 towards Rab, known as the “island of love”. Rab is filled with artists painting and exhibiting their works on the streets, giving it a slight Montmartre, Paris ambiance. Join the guided walking tour through the squares of Old Town past palaces and churches to visit the medieval walls and the famous four towers (which you can climb to the top). Afterwards enjoy a cake unique to Rab. Legend has it that local nuns created a special cake for a visiting Pope, the recipe remains a secret to this day.

Overnight in Rab

Enjoy breakfast in Rab before departing for Zadar, steeped in history as the oldest university town in Croatia. Here you’ll find the Roman Forum from the 1st century and St Donat church from the 9th century, the most famous medieval Basilica and the city’s symbol. Join the guided walking tour which will showcase the mighty city walls, over 30 churches, unique museums, and the palaces and villas which were once homes to noble families. Head to the waterfront to see the famous Sea Organs and “Greeting to the Sun” light installations. This is a great place to watch the sunset!

Overnight in Zadar

Today is filled with our favorite Croatian combination, wine and waterfalls! We’ll sail towards Skradin where a bus awaits to take us to our first stop, the famous Bibich winery. There, enjoy wine tasting and a light tapas lunch before continuing on to Krka National Park.
Krka National Park is filled with 17 waterfalls with cascades up to 100 m wide, the most popular of which is the jaw dropping “Skradinski Buk”. After soaking in all of this natural beauty, we’ll sail to Šibenik, located on Croatian’s central coast. You’ll have time to explore the gorgeous old town, waterfront, and the UNESCO listed Cathedral of St James. There is also great boutique shopping in Šibenik. Dinner on board.

Sail South to Split, Croatia’s second-largest city where the waterfront promenade buzzes with energy. Join a local guide for a walking tour through the heart of the bustling old town, the market, and UNESCO listed Roman Emperor Diocletian’s retirement palace.

Overnight in Split

Today we’ll sail to Metković on the banks of the river Neretva. Metković is home to one of the last remaining wetland deltas in Europe and where you’ll see mandarins growing on the banks of the river. You’ll take a barge ride to explore the groves, witness the variety of wild birds and plant species, as well as observe the traditional way of life of the Neretva people.

After, we’ll visit the town of Narona where ancient Illyrians, Greeks, and Romans once sailed. Legend has it, this is where the pirates of Neretva planned their raids. In Narona, you’ll have a chance to visit the Archaeological Museum which holds the remains of the Roman Temple Augusteum and 17 marble sculptures of Roman emperors and their family members.

In the evening, indulge in our Captain’s dinner with live entertainment.

Overnight in Metković

In the morning, we sail to the island of Korčula with a swimming stop in the gorgeous turquoise water and lunch onboard. Upon arrival in Korčula, a guide will take you through the narrow cobblestone streets of this medieval town that is thought to be the birthplace of the famous world explorer, Marco Polo. Enjoy the evening in town at one of the local konobas or cocktail bars.

Overnight in Korčula

Catch a unique view of the famous towering walls as we approach Dubrovnik from the sea. We’ll cruise alongside the old city walls for our first experience of Dubrovnik, which writer George Bernard Shaw described as “heaven on earth”.

Enjoy lunch on board before disembarking for a guided walking tour of the old town. You’ll have the rest of the day to explore this magical city at your leisure. We suggest walking the 1940 meters long city walls, riding the cable car to Srđ mountain for epic views of the city, or cruise to the Elaphiti Islands (ticket included).

Enjoy one final breakfast on the vessel, followed by goodbyes with the crew and new friends, before they see you off in Dubrovnik.
